PILATES FOR BONE HEALTH

This class is designed to promote good bone health. Balance and weight bearing exercises aid good posture while avoiding forward flexion to prevent stressing the spine. We work with standing, wall and mat exercises which are all suitable for those with osteopenia and osteoporosis.
BARRE ‘N’ SCULPT
Monday 9:15am
Using a chair or worktop as a Barre, this body conditioning class will tone arms, sculpt legs and work the core. The dynamic class blends ballet, Pilates, and body conditioning and is fit for all levels. It will include weight-bearing exercises, mat work and bodyweight movements to leave you feeling fit and healthy.
BETTER BONES
Tuesday 9:00am
This popular class is a safe and effective workout to improve your bone health whilst improving heart health. It will include bodyweight exercises as well as light hand weights and a chair as a prop. All of this will help to develop and correct your posture and balance. This class is safe for those with osteoporosis.
